The California quintet Over It has just announced the release of a compilation of b-sides and acoustic tracks entitled The Strand.
While their last album Step Outside Yourself was released via their previous label Virgin, this latest compilation will be featured in their online merch store and released through private distributors later this month.

Apparently, sources are saying that the New Jersey quartet The Gaslight Anthem have been removed from the Saints and Sinners Festival lineup.

Bad news!
Due to reported “acute anxiety,” The White Stripes have canceled several of their Fall tour dates. Any shows originally scheduled from September 13th to October 10th have been canceled.
UK fans can rest assured that the White Stripes are still going ahead with their regular UK tour schedule as planned.
