Recent Scatterbox Benefit Goes Berserk

scatterbox.jpgPunk/hardcore outfit Scatterbox recently held a benefit for a new food bank in Couer d’Alene. Unfortunately, the benefit turned a little… ugly.

On November 9th, 2007 Scatterbox played through several songs of their set, but were abruptly cut off when the bar’s owner shut down the power due to fans breaking things and making a mess.

Once the power was cut, a bit of chaos ensued with Scatterboxe’s lead vocalist Tom White instigating an argument with the bar’s owner. Chaos ensued, and the police were called. The band was thisclose to getting arrested, but the cops decided not to press charges.

Pretty crazy, huh? In any case, Scatterbox has a new album coming out in early 2008. Check ‘em out, but please – don’t instigate a riot, okay? :)
