Sounds of Goodbye Working on Tour Dates for Spring
New York quintet Sounds of Goodbye have been hit with some hard luck, including losing both their guitar and bass player. Now that the band is finally back in working order, they are conjuring plans for a tour sometime in the Spring. Stay tuned for that.
Additionally, the band will be releasing a 6 song EP in the near future. I’ll have more info on that when it’s available.
In the meantime, check out some of their tracks at their Myspace page. My favorite? “At the Edge of Silence,” which starts out with a very melodic intro and transitions into lyrics like these:
“And now I float away, With my hope screaming for another day
Feel the rope get tighter, with every breath No more feeling, No time left”
