New Hanukkah Compilation from Fat Wreck Chords
After three cups of caffeinated tea, I’m still barely awake after pulling an all-nighter. Bear with me, folks!
In any case, Fat Wreck Chords has announced the recent release of their brand new Hanukkah-inspired compilation album, complete with never-before-heard music from some of your favorite bands.
You’ll hear never released tracks from bands like NOFX, Anti-Flag, Rise Against, Strung Out and many more. You can get this online release here.
It’s definitely worth a listen, so I suggest you check it out.
Until then, stay true.

Pop Punk Christmas Goodness!
Get into the holiday spirit with “This Christmas” by the pop punk quintet Every Avenue.
The song starts out slow and melodic, with lyrics like these below.
“So let’s move a little bit closer,
Talk a little bit softer,
I’ve only got December,
Until this year’s gone.”
Afterwards, the chorus transitions into the raucous pop punk sound we’re so familiar with. It’s definitely not your traditional Christmas song!
Check it out here, and get ready for the holidays!

Does “Punk” Mean You Have to be Bad?
What does the word punk mean?
According to Dictionary.com, punk takes on a variety of meanings, including “someone who is worthless or unimportant; a hoodlum.” Let’s face it – we’ve all seen those groups of teenagers at the mall, complete with purple hair, Mohawks, piercings and looking seriously bad. Some of them might even fit this definition.
But that’s not what punk is about. Punk isn’t about drinking until you puke, giving the middle finger to someone who cuts you off, or using drugs to the point of oblivion. It isn’t even about the clothes you wear, what type of music you …read more
Monday Music Madness: The Singularity
I am in love with The Singularity. Seriously.
The punk trio recently posted a track on their Myspace page entitled Bled to Death, which will appear on their forthcoming full length. An official release date hasn’t been announced quite yet, but it’s expected to drop sometime next year.
If you’re into DIY, you may also want to check out their Video page, where one of the band members filmed two music videos for a couple of their songs. It’s worth a look, I promise.
Wake up to some awesome music this morning, and stay true!
