Keep your eye out for an extended digital EP from The Used, due to be released February 19th, 2008.
Entitled Shallow Believer, you’ll be able to get your hands on the EP through iTunes, Amazon and other retailers that offer digital music for purchase.
Shallow Believer will feature 10 songs, and promises to be pretty interesting.

You guys have got to check out Anti-Flag’s new song, the first off their upcoming full length album via RCA records.
The record is entitled “The Bright Lights of America,” – look for the new track with the same name.
You can expect the album to drop April 1st, 2008.

California punk group Hit The Switch have made two songs available for download (for FREE) on their Myspace page.
The two tracks, entitled “Tidal Wave” and “Ample Bright” are two brand new songs from the group, their first since 2006’s release.
You can also check out tour dates on the band’s Myspace – they’ll be hitting the road in April.

Great news, folks. Reunited NYC punk act Lower East Side Stitches (L.E.S. Stitches, for short) have just released two new tracks, their first since 2000.
Honestly, it’s been a long time – but they’re still kickin’. See for yourself at their Myspace page.

Canadian punk/hardcore group Protest The Hero has recently launched a full album stream of their upcoming album Fortress.
Seriously, give these folks a listen. The actual album drops on January 29th, 2008 (that’s Tuesday, in case you’re behind the times.)
Fortress is the follow up album to 2005’s Kezia.

On one of my many random searches for new, great punk music I came across a fantastic group. How could I not share them with ya’ll?
The Death Set, who have recently signed to Counter Records, will be releasing their debut full length Worldwide on April 22nd, 2008.
Seriously, give these folks a listen. In a world of imitations, The Death Set manage to hold steady on a path of originality – not to mention awesome, AWESOME music.

2008’s Coachella lineup should prove to be pretty rad. The annual festival is set to be held on April 25th, 26th and 27th.
The lineup includes a lot of awesome bands, so if you already plan to attend you should have an awesome time. If you hadn’t planned on attending… why not?!
Some of the bands you can expect to see include Gogol Bordello, The Breeders, Flogging Molly, Manchester Orchestra, Midnight Juggernauts, Tegan and Sara, Madness and more.
