Fall Out Boy’s Cover of Michael Jackson’s “Beat It”

Fall Out Boy’s Cover of Michael Jackson’s “Beat It”

Are you kidding me? Okay, so Fall Out Boy can technically be defined as “pop punk” – that’s why I’m writing about them, as much as I really can’t stand their music.
BUT, I was willing to overlook that… until now. Apparently, Fall Out Boy has done a cover version of Michael Jackson’s “Beat It,” featuring John Mayer… WTF… JOHN MAYER?!
I’m not sure what to make of this. On the one hand, the original “Beat It” is one of those songs that I admit to liking – sort of my guilty pleasure song, ya know? The fact that Fall Out Boy …read more

Deluxe Edition Planned for Bad Religion’s New Maps of Hell

As odd as it may seem releasing a deluxe edition of an album that hasn’t been out that long, Epitaph plans on doing just that. The record company plans to release a deluxe edition of Bad Religion’s New Maps of Hell.
I’ll give you further details when they happen, as far as an expected release date and what they’re going to add to the “Deluxe” edition.
Until next time, stay true.

The Adored are Adored By Me, At Least

The Adored are Adored By Me, At Least

So, I’m browsing through new music like I usually do on weekends, and I come across this band.
The Adored are, quite simply, your quintessential pop-punkers, but with a little something extra – they don’t sound like your typical pop punk bands! It’s hard to explain. That’s why I think you should just go listen to them.
My personal favorite is “Not Having It,” but choose yours.
Furthermore, all of the tracks on their Myspace page are available on their recently released full length, entitled “A New Language.”
What are you waiting for? It’s Saturday morning – go listen to some new tunes.
