New Music from Alkaline Trio

New Music from Alkaline Trio

In anticipation of their upcoming release via Epic Records, Alkaline Trio have posted a new track from the album on their Myspace page.
You can listen to the song, entitled “Help Me,” by clicking here.
I’m totally digging the tune; while it’s slightly different from some of their older stuff, the band manages to remain true to the sound that made them who they are. Check it out for yourself, and let me know what you think.
Oh, and keep your calendars marked for July 1st; that’s when the new album, Agony and Irony drops.
Stay true,

The Offspring are Keeping Busy

The Offspring are Keeping Busy

The Offspring are hard at work preparing for the release of their new album, which will be the followup to 2003’s release “Splinter.”
As such, the band has added even more dates to their tour, including The Rockwave Festival in Athens, Greece.
What’s more, The Offspring will headline the Summer Round Up from Santa Barbara’s radio station KJEE – that will happen May 18th.
If you want to keep up to date on their forthcoming album, tour dates or whatever, please click here. I’m eagerly anticipating the new album, and I’m sure most of their fans are doing the same.

Listen to You Me At Six

Listen to You Me At Six

UK pop punk group You Me At Six are an interesting find. While hardcore punk fans may steer clear of this poppy-er sound (poppy-er is a word now ’cause I said so), general punk fans or something looking for something a little lighter may find this band refreshing.
If you’re interested in checking out You  Me At Six, simply head over to their Myspace page.
Once there, you can listen to some music and check out the videos for two of their songs, or purchase their single “If I Were In Your Shoes.”
All in all, I think the music from You Me …read more

Full Album Stream from Millencolin

Full Album Stream from Millencolin

Is it just me, or do a lot of bands seem to be launching full album streams recently? Whatever the reason behind it, I think it’s awesome that these bands are allowing fans to preview the full album; it’s a great, LEGAL way to “try before you buy.”
The latest group to join the full-album stream list is Millencolin, which rocks. Check out “Machine 15″ on their Myspace page – the album will be released viw Epitaph Records in the United States on May 6th.
Check it out and let me know what you think!
