For all the Less Than Jake fans out there, check out “Abandon Ship,” the first track previewed from Less Than Jake’s forthcoming album GNV FLA. The album won’t hit stores until June 24th, but you’ll definitely want to check out this song.

While a firm release date and a title has yet to be announced, Rise Against have posted another studio blog update on how their album preparation is going.
The band has apparently been hard at work writing new material for the next album and are experimenting with a variety of different sounds to make the album “bigger and better” than anything they’ve done previously. That’s exciting!

Flogging Molly will be embarking on a fall tour to support their recent release “Float.”
The tour will begin towards the beginning of September and end with a show in Las Vegas, NV at the end of October.

For a taste of honest punk rock, you definitely need to check out California four-piece The Zomboys.
They are unapologetic, honest and real – and their music is pretty good, too. According to their Myspace, they’ve played alongside some pretty rad bands, including Drastic Actions and Oi Boys, among others.

I had the pleasure of receiving Jonny Dongel’s album “A Fifth Of Nowhere” in the mail recently, and for fans of British pub/punk rock, this album shouldn’t disappoint.
To be honest, I couldn’t help but smile when I played this album. From the very first track (Snocker Snog & Shag,) I was rockin’ out in my room. The chorus is repetitive, but memorable – and not so monotonous that you want to switch to the next song.

Happy Monday! Don’t forget, you have until JULY 6th to enter the Less Than Jake contest – there are only three entries, so what are you waiting for? Enter!
Anyway, it appears The Offspring have launched a full album stream of their forthcoming album, Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace (due out June 17th, 2008.)
You should definitely consider checking it out. It will be interesting to hear what the entire album sounds like before it hits stores!
