The B5Media network:

Win A Copy of Less Than Jake’s Upcoming CD!

IMPORTANT:

I HAVE DELETED SEVERAL COMMENTS BECAUSE OF FAILURE TO FOLLOW ENTRY REQUIREMENTS. PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE POST BEFORE ENTERING THE CONTEST! IF YOU DON’T, YOU RISK YOUR ENTRY NOT BEING COUNTED. THANK YOU.

Earlier this week, I promised there would be contest information on Friday. Well, it’s Friday folks – and News In Punk’s FIRST EVER CONTEST! (Yes, I capitalized the words for effect.)

I’ve got a couple of rad prizes to give away, courtesy of Sleep It Off Records. One lucky winner will receive a copy of Less Than Jake’s forthcoming CD, GNV VLA as well as a 12″ LTJ bobblehead. The bobblehead apparently also functions as a bank, so it’s a collectors item AND multi-purpose.

ltj-bobblehead.jpg gnv-fla_300.jpg

(You could win these!!!)

The contest will run from Friday, June 6th until July 6th (that’s a whole month, folks.) In order to enter, leave a comment on this post telling me about one of your all-time favorite songs and why it has a special place in your heart. Simple enough, yeah?

At the end of the month, a winner will be randomly selected and the prizes will be shipped out. PLEASE, make sure you leave a valid e-mail address so I can contact you if you win. Good luck, and get to entering!

Denise

My all-time favorite song is “Like A Rolling Stone” by Bob Dylan. When I went off to college, I was really homesick. My dad had given me a bunch of his old cassette tapes and one of them had this song on it. As soon as I heard it, I felt so much better about everything. It made me realize that there are worse situations I could be in.
