Hello folks – there has been a slight change of plans.
Due to the enormous amount of comments I received over the weekend (and was unable to get to,) I will be announcing the winner for the Less Than Jake contest TOMORROW. I would feel bad if those comments were unable to be counted, especially considering they DID make the deadline ( I was just super busy and unable to moderate them.)

What does 4th annual sexiest vegetarians contest have to do with a punk music blog?
Plenty, considering some of the celebs on the roster include Chris #2 from Anti-Flag, Brandon Barnes from Rise Against, Derek Grant from Alkaline Trio, John Feldmann from Goldfinger, and Andy Hurley from Fall Out Boy – just to name a few. Who knew so many punk musicians were veg?

Happy Monday, everyone – I hope all of you had a fantastic weekend.
The last few days have been great for Offspring news, and I’m happy to announce the latest developments. Apparently, The Offspring have launched a video contest for their new single “Hammerhead.”
The contest is simple. Interested participants must create a video using the “Hammerhead” song and upload it to YouTube. Be creative! Do not use any photos or video footage of The Offspring; all footage of your video must be self-shot.

Courtesy of Punknews.org, Anti-Flag is giving away an awesome skate deck and a vinyl edition of their forthcoming album “The Bright Lights of America.”
The album will be released on April 1st 2008, and is the follow-up to their last album, “For Blood and Empire.”
The site says entries were supposed to be received by midnight yesterday, but I entered this morning and my entry seemed to go through just fine. My thoughts? It’s worth a shot, you never know!
