Two New Songs from Lower East Side Stitches on Myspace

Great news, folks. Reunited NYC punk act Lower East Side Stitches (L.E.S. Stitches, for short) have just released two new tracks, their first since 2000.
Honestly, it’s been a long time – but they’re still kickin’. See for yourself at their Myspace page.
The two tracks are entitled “Guess Who’s Back” and “Can’t Take it Anymore.” Which one is your favorite?
I hope all of you had a terrific weekend. Stay TRUE!

Check out their new track, “I Am No One”:
“Clear thoughts and I can’t maintain
The same frail thoughts from day to day
There’s no stability
There’s nothing to save”
According to the group, the song is set to appear on an upcoming 7″.
In the meantime, check out the new track here, as well as some of their other material.

Yeah, yeah – it’s technically Tuesday, but whose paying attention? This week’s Monday Music Madness feature offers a look at punk quartet Hot Atomics, who I’ve discovered are going to be recording a 7″ EP at the end of January. The EP will be released sometime this Spring, but I have no further details for you at this time.
Until then, why don’t you check out some of their music? My personal favorite is “Helen.”
You can also check out dates for upcoming shows featuring Hot Atomics on their Myspace page.
Stay True!

I am in love with The Singularity. Seriously.
The punk trio recently posted a track on their Myspace page entitled Bled to Death, which will appear on their forthcoming full length. An official release date hasn’t been announced quite yet, but it’s expected to drop sometime next year.
If you’re into DIY, you may also want to check out their Video page, where one of the band members filmed two music videos for a couple of their songs. It’s worth a look, I promise.
Wake up to some awesome music this morning, and stay true!

A one-man band, so to speak, Watertowers has just posted a demo track which will appear on the upcoming split with Alex and the Imaginary Friends.
