I hope everyone had a terrific Halloween. I’m not sure about your community, but I swear – in mine, Halloween brings people closer together than Christmas does.
One house was giving away candy to the children, and margaritas to the parents and other adults! Another had cupcakes, candy and a bonfire ready to go. I love my city during Halloween!

Taking Back Sunday to Release DVD
Taking Back Sunday has announced plans to release a specially priced DVD entitled “Louder Now: Part Two.” If you purchase the DVD, you’ll also get a special CD of live tracks and B-Sides from the album.
You can expect a lot of behind the scenes footage, commentary from the band and lots more.
I’m not sure when the DVD will be released, but I’ll post more details when I find out!
The band released Louder Now in 2006.
Time Magazine’s 30th Anniversary of Punk Video Essay
In an interesting multimedia documentary of punk rock, Time Magazine has chronicled the “30th Anniversary of Punk” in an amazing photo/video montage of the front-runners of punk rock, including The Clash and The Sex Pistols, among others.
If you’ve got a little time to kill, I strongly recommend you check the video out. It’s brief, but still manages to cover most of the important acts that created the punk rock movement.

New Found Glory posts New Trailer from Upcoming Full Length
Here’s a short, 30-second trailer from New Found Glory’s upcoming full-length, From the Screen to Your Stereo Part 2. The much anticipated album will feature covers of movie theme songs.
While the trailer’s short, it gives a good indication of what fans can expect from this forthcoming release, due out September 18th via Drive-Thru Records.
