Well, the Monday Music Madness had to come sometime… even if it is Wednesday.
This week, Chinese Telephones have posted a new track from their forthcoming debut album. While a firm release date hasn’t been set yet, the band hopes to have the album (released via Alive Records) available sometime in October.

If you’re into the whole pop-punk thing, then you definitely want to check out Epitaph’s recent signing, Farewell.
They just posted a new track off their upcoming album for the label, entitled “First One On The Blog.”
I have to admit, they are undeniably catchy. Watch for their record Isn’t This Supposed to be Fun?, due out September 25th, 2007.

The Portland, Maine five-piece Reunion has just posted a new song from their upcoming self-titled EP. The song, “Green Light” will be the first track on the album and was recorded at Dead Air Studios in Massachusetts.
While the official release date hasn’t been announced, the band hopes to release the EP sometime in October. I’ll keep you posted when more information becomes available.

Happy Monday, everyone.
Ah, man. It seems like last week flew by. I wasn’t able to give you your weekly music fix last week unfortunately (tear), so I’ll try to make up for that this week and give you several new songs to listen to! Hell yeah.
This week, you can check out the latest track from Teenage Rehab, “White Ghetto.” It’ll be on their forthcoming split release with Moral Crux and released via Jailhouse Records. Hopefully, before the year runs out!

It’s time for another round of Monday Music Madness. I hope ya’ll had a kick ass weekend.
This week, I bring you a preview straight from the Dropkick Murphys upcoming release. The song, entitled “Flannigan’s Ball” will be featured on their upcoming full length, The Meanest of Times.
I have never been so excited about an upcoming release than I am about this one. The album, due out September 18th is the follow up to 2005’s The Warrior’s Code.

Okay, just to set the record straight up front – I do not like Fall Out Boy. However, they are technically classified as “pop punk,” so they aren’t completely irrelevant to this blog
Why am I writing about this? It’s quite simple – because I get to bash them. Juvenile, perhaps, but hear me out. They’ve released a new remix of their single “This Ain’t a Scene, it’s an Arms Race.”
If they were going to collaborate with other artists, you think they’d pick a few that actually sounded musically similar to their slightly aggravating style.
Fat Wreck Chords has announced plans to reissue albums from their back catalogue on oh-so-spiffy colored vinyl. Pretty!
Of course, the folks at Fat refuse to mention a concrete time frame for this little project, so I guess we just need to stay tuned.
However, I do have some good news!
