CBGB Turned… Fashion Boutique?

Yeah, I know… you saw the title of this post and probably went “HUH” just like I did.
It’s true, though - the legendary punk rock venue CBGB, which closed its doors a year ago, will reopen as a high-end fashion boutique.
Weird but true. I can’t say I understand it myself, but designer John Varvatos tentatively plans to open the boutique next March.
What are your thoughts? I’m a little… weirded out by the fact that a class punk rock venue will reopen as, of all things, a fashion store - but what about you?
