Flogging Molly will be embarking on a fall tour to support their recent release “Float.”
The tour will begin towards the beginning of September and end with a show in Las Vegas, NV at the end of October.

Popular Los Angeles radio station KROQ have announced the lineup for their annual Weenie Roast. This year’s festival will be held at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine, CA on May 17th.
The lineup seems to be pretty solid, featuring Rise Against, Bad Religion, Metallica, The Offspring, The Raconteurs, Flogging Molly, and Pennywise to name a few.

While traditionally I feature new or unheard-of bands on my Monday Music Madness feature, in the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day I decided to showcase a little bit of Irish punk this morning. Who better to kick off the day than one of my favorite bands, Flogging Molly?
They’re playing 2008 KEDJ St Patrick’s Day Bash in Tempe, AZ today and have a bunch of other show dates lined up through the next couple of months as well. If you’re in the area, I strongly encourage you to get yourself to a show.

2008’s Coachella lineup should prove to be pretty rad. The annual festival is set to be held on April 25th, 26th and 27th.
The lineup includes a lot of awesome bands, so if you already plan to attend you should have an awesome time. If you hadn’t planned on attending… why not?!
Some of the bands you can expect to see include Gogol Bordello, The Breeders, Flogging Molly, Manchester Orchestra, Midnight Juggernauts, Tegan and Sara, Madness and more.

Flogging Molly has posted a new track, the first off their upcoming album entitled Float. The record is due out March 4th, so keep an eye out!

Following their 4th Annual Countdown to St. Patrick’s Day tour in February 2008, Flogging Molly plan to release their next album, which will be entitled Float.
The official release date for the record is March 4th, 2008.
This album will be the followup to 2004’s studio album Within A Mile Of Home and 2006’s CD/DVD combo Whiskey on a Sunday.

I’m excited to announce that Flogging Molly and Bouncing Souls have been confirmed to appear during the second-annual Rock to Roll Charity Event, sponsored by SideOneDummy’s co-founder Joe Sib.
The event will benefit Wheels for Humanity, a charity that refurbishes donated wheelchairs and customizes them to fit children and adults with disabilities across the globe.
Last year’s event was a huge success, with $27,000 raised to provide 180 wheelchairs to people in need. This year the event will be held at the Avalon Theater in Hollywood, CA on December 11th.
