What does 4th annual sexiest vegetarians contest have to do with a punk music blog?
Plenty, considering some of the celebs on the roster include Chris #2 from Anti-Flag, Brandon Barnes from Rise Against, Derek Grant from Alkaline Trio, John Feldmann from Goldfinger, and Andy Hurley from Fall Out Boy – just to name a few. Who knew so many punk musicians were veg?
In any case, what are you waiting for? Vote for YOUR favorite sexiest vegetarian nominee here, and show these musicians your support.

In anticipation of their upcoming record, “GNV FLA” (due June 24th), Less Than Jake will be headlining a summer tour with Goldfinger.

Prepare to have a kick ass summer, because Goldfinger and Less Than Jake are going on tour together.
The tour will kick off in June, so mark your calenders:

6/27 – Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel – Providence, RI
6/28 – Electric Factory – Philadelphia, PA
7/01 – Royal Oak – Royal Oak, Michigan

7/5 – Sokol Auditorium – Omaha, NE
The LTJ/Goldfinger tour promises to be pretty interesting, I think. Also, stay tuned for April 22nd when Goldfinger will be releasing their forthcoming album, “Hello Destiny.”

While their upcoming SideOneDummy debut album has yet to be given a name, Goldfinger have posted the first track expected to be on this album. The album is scheduled for release April 29th, 2008 – so keep an eye out for it.
Their last studio album was released in 2005, with an additional CD/DVD package out as well.
