]]> joeycover_revised.jpgCelebrating what WOULD have been the late punk icon Joey Ramone’s 57th birthday (he passed away in 2001 from lymphoma), the annual Joey Ramone birthday bash will be held May 19th at The Fillmore New York at Irving Plaza.

Attendees can expect an evening of fun and entertainment, including headlining appearances from Mary Weiss (The Shangri-La’s) and Richard Lloyd (Television.)

Any proceeds from the annual birthday bash will go to support the Joey Ramone Foundation for Lymphoma Research.

If you’re interested in purchasing tickets, they are available for $25 in advance at The Fillmore box office, or $30 on the day of the show or via ticketmaster.com.
